Birdman is the star of the next Apple Music documentary. This origin story will tell how the #1 Stunna would become one of the biggest success stories in the music industry with his record label, Cash Money. The documentary will be narrated by Birdman and it will feature interviews from associates of the Cash Money empire.

The documentary is called, Before Anythang: The Story Behind The Cash Money Records Empire. The news for this documentary has been bubbling for over a year.   Now we have an official premiere date, Friday, February 16.

This film is expected to take you to the roots of the NOLA boy life. It tells how he grew up learning and hustling off the streets before he would jump start a label that would go on to sell millions of records worldwide. The documentary will also show you his ability to spot great talent such as Mannie Fresh, Juvenile and Lil Wayne. The program will focus on trials and tribulations that made Cash Money into the powerhouse it is.

This Apple Music content will be produced by Birdman and Cash Money with Clifton Bell directing it. This will be the first in depth access into the media mogul’s life due to his choices to keep his private life away from the limelight. This exclusive access will give us footage and photos never before seen to the masses. Accompanying the film will be an official soundtrack.

This may be an accomplishment for Baby to get his shine on but issues with Lil Wayne are still brewing. The two had a falling out over some money that was not paid which has caused their relationship to crumble. The duo helped each other soar to new highs with their dealings in music. Yet this isn’t the first time members of the Cash Money Empire have left the label over money.

Without a doubt, this rap story is well overdue. Cash Money has brought up some of the most prominent names in music and Before Anythang: The Story Behind The Cash Money Records Empire will give you insight on how it happened.
