Shawn Bullard Revealed – 10 Things About “The Black Bachelor”

WE tv has a new reality show and the buzz is in the air about the new African-American bachelor looking for love.  Match Made In Heaven stars Shawn Bullard, looking for love with the guidance of his spiritual adviser, Pastor Ken Johnson.  But who is Shawn Bullard?  We have everything you need to know about Mr. Bullard here:

1. Shawn Bullard is a Philadelphia, PA native.  He grew up in West Oak Lane and graduated from Bishop McDevitt High School.  He attended Temple University with a full scholarship to play football.  He thrived in sports having a stellar college football career as an outside linebacker and a free safety.  He also became an All-American in track and field.
2. He graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Recreation Management with a minor in Tourism and Hospitality.
3. In 2009, the Fox School of Business announced Shawn as the winner of the distinguished “Be Your Own Boss” Bowl, making him the first African- American to win this honor.
4. Before attending Temple University he attended a small Southern school. There he got into a fight with a drug dealer on campus over a girl that left Bullard with a collapsed lung after being stabbed six times.
5. He had a three year stint in the NFL after being recruited as an undrafted free agent by the San Diego Chargers. He spent most of his NFL career on the practice squad.
6. He became a millionaire through his investments in real estate. He made his first investment with a student loan check.  He now owns Watchmen Property Management and Konkrete Investments.  He buys and renovates houses, converting them to apartments to rent to Temple University students. He also owns at least a dozen building.
7. As recently as November 2014 he was linked to be dating the newest member of the Real Housewives of Atlanta crew, Claudia Taylor.
8. He has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do
9. His mother, Maggie Bullard also works for him as his controller, managing his company’s books. Shawn lost his father to cancer when he was 22 years old, he is admittedly somewhat of a mama’s boy.
