Deitrick Haddon Shines During Hour of Power at Essence Festival 2015

Contemporary Gospel artist, Deitrick Haddon brought the church to Essence Festival’s Hour of Power on Friday.  In a performance at the Convention Center Haddon went all out in praise as part of the Hour of Power, which also featured Anita Wilson.  Haddon stars in Preachers of L.A. and is signed to eOne Music, with an album expected to be released later this year.

Haddon performed a couple of his singles but also performed a few well known Gospel records for the mid day crowd.  Check out images from the performance here:

About Deitrick Haddon: Deitrick Vaughn Haddon is an American gospel singer, songwriter, pianist, record producer, actor, and pastor. He is well known for his contemporary styles of music and is one of the cast members in Oxygen’s reality television show Preachers of L.A. He is currently 49 years old and was born on May 17, 1973, in Detroit, MI. Deitrick Vaughn got remarried in 2013 to Dominique McTyer. He has three children named Destin Monet Haddon, Denver Monroe Haddon, and Deitrick Haddon, Jr. His parents are named Clarence B. Haddon, and Joyce R. Haddon. Some of his most popular songs include “He’s Able,” “Love Him Like I Do,” “I Got A Praise [Holy One],” “Well Done,” “It All Belongs To You,” “Sinner’s Prayer,” “Open Door Season,” and “Gorilla Faith.”
