Following the success of Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Table Talk, Facebook has launched a new celebrity led series on it’s Facebook Watch platform. The social network tapped Cardi B for a new reality series of sorts, titled, ‘Cardi Tries‘. The series premiered on Thursday December 17th and will continue to air new episodes every Thursday.
Cardi B is no stranger to television, as the rapper got her start in the mainstream spotlight with the Love & Hip-Hop reality series. These days the “WAP” rapper is a perfect force to drive a television series.
‘Cardi Tries‘ Synopsis
Rap superstar Cardi B ventures out of her wheelhouse to take on a series of jobs and tasks that are way outside of her comfort zone. Whether it’s teaching nursery school, learning to drive, or milking a cow, the Bronx-born Grammy winner is game to take on all challenges thrown her way.
On the debut episode of the series, Cardi B joins legendary actress and choreographer Debbie Allen, who helps the rapper try out ballet.
