Singer, songwriter, Q Parker is branching out on his own… again.  One of the prominent voices of the hit making group, 112, stepped away from the group last year to pursue his own thing.  In 2017, the group released their first album in 12 years, Q Mike Slim Daron, but the reunion was short lived.  Today, after a bit of silence, an announcement that Q Parker signs with eOne Nashville was revealed.

Prior to reuniting with the group, Q had released his solo album debut, The MANual, back in 2012.  The new deal with eONe Nashville will allow Q to release more new music.  The plan is to release his first project with the label in the fall, titled, The Bridge Project.  Q teased the album earlier in the year, announcing on his social media that he was putting together a collaboration project that would bridge R&B music and Gospel Music.

On the deal, Q Parker states, “I am extremely excited for this new venture with eOne and Nashville label VP/GM Gina Miller. This team has unmatched synergy with my team. They understand the Q Parker brand and musical direction with intentional purpose! I look forward to sharing new music soon with my fans!”

Gina Miller, the VP/GM Entertainment One Nashville also released a statement in regards to signing Q Parker. “We are proud that we have created a space and home for artists and writers that create great music that consumers would identify with, would want, and would appreciate in a significant way. In this case, Q Parker is an exceptional writer and an extraordinary artist. ‘The Bridge Project’ reflects Q’s heart, vision, creativity and reach. I am honored that we will be a part of a project that will unite and uplift, as well as inspire and impact culture.”

eOne Nashville recently signed Syleena Johnson as well, so it looks like they are building a home for R&B talent over there.

We look forward to hearing new music from Q Parker.
