If you’ve ever been to Tampa Bay, you’ll know that it’s one of the most attractive cities in the United States. In fact, a recent survey in Money Magazine named it as one of the top five US cities with a population of over 300,000. The economic prosperity, natural resources, urban environment, and local climate all combine together to create a location that is a hotspot for people of all ages and all walks of life. If this isn’t enough to convince you to have Tampa real estate agents on speed dial, keep reading for a list of reasons to move to Tampa Bay.

The Weather

Perhaps the best thing about Tampa is its climate. The summers are long and hot, while the winters are pleasantly warm. You definitely won’t be dealing with massive snow drifts like the northern states! In fact, even during January and February, the average temperature hovers around 21 degrees Centigrade. Whether you enjoy playing golf, jogging along the beach, walking your dog, or just heading out to the shops without the need to put on three layers, Tampa definitely won’t disappoint. You’ll be able to leave the house in short sleeves, even in the middle of winter.

The Golf

We mentioned golf briefly above and if this is something you enjoy, Tampa is definitely the location for you. The area has been named as one of the world’s top destinations for golf enthusiasts, and some of the world’s best golf courses can be found here. The Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club, the World Woods Golf Club, and Saddlebrook Resort are three of the top destinations, but there are plenty more. You may be surprised to hear that lots of golfers move to Tampa purely for the sport, but it’s true!

The Beautiful Beaches

Despite being a city, Tampa is set on the coast, and the whole of the Bay area is known for its beautiful beaches. With clean, snow-white sand and azure warm waters, you’d be hard pressed to find one person in the United States who hasn’t heard of the gorgeous beach conditions. Clearwater is the most beautiful beach in the area, according to USA Today, but there are plenty more.

Variety of Entertainment Options

As you’d expect, Tampa Bay is a popular destination for tourists. While some people may not be too keen to move to a tourist city, one of the main positives of a location like this is the massive variety of entertainment options. From good clubs to world-class restaurants and bars, romantic places to walk, outdoor concerts and events, festivals, and attractions for the kids, pretty much everything you could ever dream of can be found in the area. Plus, the prices in Tampa Bay tend to be much lower than in Miami, so it’s perfectly suitable for those on a budget.

If the above points haven’t convinced you to consider Tampa Bay as a place to relocate to, we don’t know what will!
