August Alsina Just Released an EP Full of Love Songs, Stream It Here…
It’s been ‘forever and a day’ since we’ve received a full body of work from New Orleans songster August Alsina. But his newest joints have made up for that and then some.
The 26-year-old took us down lovers’ lane this morning, with the unveiling of an all-new EP, uncoincidentally titled Forever and a Day.
Released through his own label, Shake the World, the 8-track, mini album is said to be one of Alsina’s dearest projects, as it embodies nothing short of a intimate, engaging experience.
“It’s personal now. I got three queens to be looking up to me. Love and positive vibes only,” he wrote in an Instagram post. “Love conquers darkness, and this project will be love. I just want the world to feel beautiful.”
The three queens who AA is referring to happens to be his nieces, Chaylin, KayKay, and Amaiya, who recently lost their mother after a lengthy battle with cancer. However, though faced with many hardships, Alsina continues to push through and find solace in his music.
Back in December, the crooner premiered the official video to his song, “Like You Love Me,” which nearly broke the internet, and now, the fans are loving him even more.
What a way to kick off Valentine’s Day, right?
