The movie How High is getting a sequel. It will be a follow up to the 2001 stoner comedy that starred Method Man and Redman. The leading star of How High 2 is rapper Lil Yachty. Filming has already begun in Atlanta.

This sequel will not be like the original. How High 2 is focused on two young “potreprenuers” on a magical hash-fueled journey to fund their on-demand munchies delivery start-up. Lil Yachty plays Roger, an entrepreneur and the younger brother of one of the leading characters from the original film.

Lil Yachty serves as an executive producer alongside Kevin “Coach K” Lee and Pierre “Pee” Thomas, the executives behind the success over at Quality Control Records.

How High 2 is written by Alex Blagg (“@midnight,” “Workaholics”), Neel Shah (“Powerless”), Shawn Ries (“Family Guy,” “Futurama”) and Artie Johann (“Big Mouth,” “Family Guy”) and directed by Bruce Leddy (Last Week Tonight with John Oliver,” “MADtv”).

How High 2 will premiere on MTV in 2019.

Lil Yachty announced the project with a video, which you can watch below:
