Singer Ari Lennox is trying to build a music career that inspires the young generation, while making songs for the people who want that good old tingly R&B feeling to come back to music, instead of singers who turn into rappers.  The 25 year old’s Washington D.C. native’s music is described to be something like turn up Soul and also being a sound that fits today’s music.

Ari has been making her voice be heard ever since she dropped her debut EP, PHO towards the end of 2016 under J Cole’s Dreamville label. But before she did her own project she was featured on her Dreamville label mate, Omen’s album Elephant Eyes in 2015 on a track titled “Sweat It Out”. Later in that year it was announced that Lennox would be signed to Dreamville Records and she would go on to contribute to the label’s compilation album Revenge of the Dreamers 2 on a song titled “Backseat” with Cozz.
