Amazing news for fans of Tiffany Haddish, as she scores a hosting gig for the MTV Movie & TV Awards. The comedian has been bringing her game for urban comedy consumers. She is among the group that is getting uncountable good reviews from most critics. Haddish is allowed to brush the dirt off her shoulders.

Haddish will be the first black women to host the MTV Movie & TV Awards. The MTV Movie & TV Award is a film and television awards show that airs annually on MTV. Winners are decided online by general public. Award categories range from Movie of the Year, Best Actor, Trending and Next Generation. Award winners are presented with the “golden popcorn” statue.

This madam took to Instagram to announce the news of her hosting the MTV Movie & TV Awards.

“It’s gonna be Hilarious,” Haddish claimed in her IG video post.

Haddish is known for her breakthrough role as Dina in the 2017 film Girls Trip, which stars Queen Latifah and Jada Pinkett Smith. Haddish has also made an appearance in the 2016 comedy movie Keanu, and starred in the NBC sitcom The Carmichael Show. She is set to star with Tracy Morgan in a new TBS sitcom, “The Last O.G.,” and be alongside Kevin Hart in a film set to released this year.

Last year at the awards, stars like Snoop Dogg, Yara Shahidi, Issa Rae, Zendaya and DJ Khaled were in the house. Big Sean and Pitbull were part of the entertainment for the night. Also Taraji P. Henson, Lil Rel Howery, Daniel Kaluuya and the show This Is Us took home awards. Details on what to expect at the forthcoming award is yet to surface. The 2018 MTV Movie & Awards will be in Los Angeles, California.
