[LISTEN] Justin Timberlake Reveals New Single, “Filthy”, Announces New Album

Justin Timberlake Man of the Woods

Justin Timberlake has announced that he has a new album on the way and fans couldn’t be happier.

This news came earlier this week when the 36 year-old took to Twitter to announce his forthcoming album would be titled, Man of the Woods.  He went one step further when he announced that the album will be out on February 2nd.

J.T. shared a short video clip of him wandering through wooded land with cameos from his wife, his son and producer Pharrell Williams. He also shared what might be the album artwork for Man of the Woods. This will be his fifth studio album and his return to music after a four year revenant. In 2013 he dropped his previous LP, The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2.

“This album is really inspired by my son, my wife, my family, but more so than any other album I’ve ever written, where I’m from, and it’s personal,” he says.

Pharrell Williams, who is a producer for this new album, has already deemed this album “earthy.” The first single off the album was released on Friday and it’s called “Filthy”.

The song is produced by Timbaland and Danja.

The “Sexy Back” singer is set to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show just days after the release of his new album. The performance comes 14 years after the infamous Janet Jackson “wardrobe malfunction” performance of 2004.

Justin also revealed the album’s tracklist via Twitter.
