Tyler Perry’s ‘For Better Or Worse’ Set To Premiere 6th Season

OWN‘s popular comedy series Tyler Perry’s For Better or Worse, returns for its sixth and final season in June. Angela and Marcus find themselves in a new chapter of their marriage. Meanwhile, Leslie and Joseph adapt to their lives as a married couple. Obviously, love is in the air and Jennifer has found hers with Richard.

Tasha Smith and Michael Jai White reprise their roles as Angela and Marcus Williams. The dysfunctional couple that the world was introduced to through Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married? and Why Did I Get Married Too?! They are joined by Jason Olive and Crystle Stewart who play Joseph and Leslie, the best friends of Marcus and Angela. Angela’s childhood friend and employee, Jennifer, is portrayed by comedienne/actress Cocoa Brown. And Kent Faulcon is Marcus’ co-worker Richard, who he’s known since college. Richard also used to be married to Marcus’ troublesome baby mama Keisha, played by Kiki Haynes.

Throughout the seasons these friends have survived issues of marriage infidelity, divorce, and crazy exes. The show has been praised for its strikingly good-looking cast and their ability to keep audiences laughing. Viewers appreciate the dynamic stories and approach to the 21st-century issues concerning dating, marriage, and divorce. There’s no question as to why For Better or Worse has been the #1 original cable series for African-American women on Friday nights for the last couple of years.

The final season is supposed to kick off with a big secret. There’s a possibility that the secret is news that Leslie is pregnant with her and Joseph’s first child. The only way to find out for sure is to watch the seasons premiere in a couple of weeks.

The first two episodes of Tyler Perry’s “For Better or Worse” premieres Saturday, June 10 at 9 PM and 9:30 PM EST on OWN TV.
