Vic Mensa Arrested For Gun Possession

Rapper Vic Mensa was pulled over in Beverly Hills for a traffic violation back on February 27, (last week) and ended up going to jail. TMZ reports that Mensa was driving with tinted windows (illegal) and ran a red light. This is what prompted the police to pull him over. However, he confessed that he was carrying a gun in the car, showing them his concealed carry permit. And he was then arrested.

Mensa was arrested on a felony count of carrying a concealed weapon. After spending a night in jail, he was released on $35,000 bail. According to the authorities, his permit was valid in another state, but not in the state of California, where he was obviously driving.

This isn’t Vic Mensa’s first run-in with the Beverly Hills police. Last year, he and a group of his friends were detained by Beverly Hills Police Department after they were accused of stealing from a Barney’s store. He had actually spent around $4,000 in the store that day.
