Lil Wayne Apologizes For Comments, Explains Why There Was No Thought Put Into Responses

That was quick. In a follow-up to the earlier Lil Wayne story about his comments on Black Lives Matter and his attitude towards the interviewer for his Nightline interview, Lil Wayne apologizes and provides somewhat of an explanation for his behavior.  After a long day of taking grief from fans, Lil Wayne caught up with TMZ for his apology and it seems somewhat justifiable.

This doesn’t explain his comments for the Fox Sports  Undisputed interview where he said racism doesn’t exist, but it’s an unwritten rule that mentioning people’s children will always be followed by nothing positive.  Lil Wayne said he was “agitated” after the interviewer brought up his daughter.

See the Lil Wayne apology and explanation below.

via TMZ:

Wayne told TMZ:

“When the reporter began asking me questions about my daughter being labeled a bitch and a hoe, I got agitated. From there, there was no thought put into her questions and my responses…”

“Apologies to anyone who was offended.”
